This eyepiece will not snap onto Canon 30D, 40D or 7D (these are the only cameras I have tried). above the viewfinder. I have had several of these eyecups over the past 3 years. This is indeed a very good product but requires a simple repair ie a dab of superglue in at least two places on the plastic section. All you have to do is separate the 2 sections and then apply a dab of glue to the plastic piece in the channel where the rubber piece meets. Then reconnect the two sections.
