Good quality heater motor

Good quality fan motor, much quieter than the original in a 1999 Tahoe that finally stopped working after 21 years. Arrived fairly quickly even during Bank Holidays and CoVid. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • So far so good

Warm and happy! - Spare parts

Works well so far. It squeaks for a second when it starts below thirty, but nothing wants to work properly when the temperature is below thirty. I think if it survives the North Dakota winter it will be worth it!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Has been working great for 2 years!

Fits my 1997 GMC Sierra. I swapped the old/original squeaky one for this one and have not regretted it for 2 years of operation. Easy exchange. Would recommend to a friend! * To update. Installed in 2017 and still works great!

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Frequency

Very noisy, poor airflow

I have been a professional auto mechanic for over 40 years. I knew better but was working on an older machine and was looking for a cheap alternative. I learned my lesson as soon as I turned this thing on. It sounded like a coyote in the heat! I would not recommend this product to anyone and will be returning mine and spending the extra $$ to get a good one.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Minor problems

Good fan replacement.

Very happy with this device so far. This new unit replaced the original fan in my 1997 Suburban which was starting to make a horrible screeching noise due to a supposedly failed bearing. I installed this new fan in minutes and was amazed by its performance. Works fantastic, blows quietly. Very happy. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks, so I can't guarantee durability.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Good but better with ACDeclo

It's louder than the original Acdelco fan, doesn't seem to blow as hard. It's worth it for the price. Don't forget to keep your old motor, you will need to keep the breather pipe and attach your own ground wire as well. I just scraped off the paint in one spot, cut off the old grounding plug and screwed it on. Addendum: After 3 months, the bearing began to creak at low speeds. annoys. Pay extra money and get a piece of ACDelco.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

1999 Chevrolet Tahoe Key Installation Instructions Included

Perfect for my 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe. However, it seems less powerful and a bit louder than the original part. 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe Installation Notes: You will need a 7/32 socket wrench to remove one of the screws. My Tahoe has a metal brace that blocks the use of a socket wrench; Using an adjustable mini wrench works but is tedious, 1/8 turn at a time. The seal comes from the fan side, not the engine side. Pull the gasket over the wheel, not over the metal flange. You will need to move the…

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Non Automatic Transmission

Ease of installation. Keep the old details. Clean the evaporator core.

At around $35 you can't beat it! I read some reviews where people said the wind is not that strong etc but not in my case. They both look the same, weigh the same and sound the same. My original still worked, but I found that the power cord had burned while poking around. Replaced the purple power cord. I cleaned the fins and casing of the condenser/heater cooler as it was full of dirt and leaves from all the years in my 99 k1500 commuter. Installed a new fan using the original hose and metal…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
