Works perfectly! - Starters, chargers and portable power pack

This thing was used on twelve of our road tapes to South Carolina, powered two tablets and two smartphones with no problems. I haven't even heard how it works like my last one.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Will write later

Save your money: jumpers, chargers and portable power supplies

Used to work well I had it for two months and it stopped working I kept it in my glove box, I have it got a different make for my other car and it hasn't given up, i may have to get the same one again. Don't waste your money on it.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

A piece of junk. Best Tools & Equipment

Do not buy this product. Does not deliver the specified output voltage of 120 VAC (300 W). Connected to laptop charger, half the required wattage and amps. Yes, I checked all the amps and watts required to run my laptop. Stumbled every time. Tried something with 1/4 rating, worked a bit and then stumbled. Bad product.

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Commercial Availability

Works well for most low power needs.

Ideal for charging and using small electronic devices, as well as a backup source or external power supply. I have a small battery pack with a 12v car adapter and it works great for charging my laptop without having to buy a separate car charger. Good for testing things when buying or selling so you don't have to meet at home or plug in an outlet somewhere.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great item for camping, trips and eating at home

In the event of a power outage this is a great and easy solution to keeping the basic electronics running. It's very easy to connect to the car and then move on to the main devices. Note that different devices use more power. And you must start the car in a safe place to avoid battery discharge and carbon monoxide problems. Not as powerful as Power Wall, but a lot cheaper.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Small Parts

Very disappointed with tools and equipment

I bought this inverter in September to use in the car to charge my laptop during my lunch break at work. Yesterday I decided to try it. Unfortunately, it didn't charge my laptop at all. I was so disgusted that I didn't even try to charge my phone with it, which I didn't need it for at all. I can do this using one of the multiple USB ports on my computer. The return window closed on September 4th, so I was just stuck with a $20 brick. Admittedly, it's my fault for not trying sooner. I will look…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

For damage from over voltage I connected it to a 2015 Equinox socket/cigarette lighter (12v outlet as needed) and a 300W baby bottle warmer (the specs say the inverter can handle up to 300W). It turned on, beeped for about 30 seconds, and then everything just went off, blowing the fuse in my car. I used this product exactly as recommended and it FAILED. It can't handle the supposed load, it might be fine for small devices that don't draw that much power, but don't expect it to get anywhere near

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Quality
