This is a well made micrometer from China. Considering the price there are no complaints. In fact, it appears to be better crafted than many Chinese pseudo-instruments. Received this as a replacement for a stolen Starrett and decided to give it a try. They are really well made and work well. Mine required a small calibration adjustment at a half thousand out of the box, but it's easy enough to do. The standard supplied is accurate and lapped - a perfect match for Starrett and another unknown brand I have. case is good too. The faces are nicely aligned and, as far as I can tell, parallel.
