Excellent Seal

I've used it around my front door and windows and it made a huge difference in keeping the heat in along with the weatherstrip. Very easy to use, no noticeable smell or blemish, this has proven to be a great affordable solution for me, the only issue would be that you want it to be a little wider so make sure and measure your gaps you're using it for want to use, but it fits most gaps around doors and windows, not where the door closes, it's a little thick to weather the inside of the door…

wide enough for my metal door

The walls of my apartment here are made of thick sound absorbing concrete. Almost no noise leaks into the neighboring unit. The doors to the hallway are a different story. 1" tape is wide enough to seal a metal door. This material is best for Weather Protection

First off, let me say I bought the wrong size. Guilty. My house is 40 years old and the front door sagged a bit. Thus, the gap is smaller in some areas than in other areas. I've applied this to all the wider areas and apparently some not so wide areas as it now requires three people and a horse to open and close my front door.
