🍄 Premium Cast Aluminum Mushroom and Egg Slicer by Fox Run Review

Very good egg slicer with working latch. Made of aluminum, it doesn't look very good, but it works, and the price is only a penny. Easier to clean than my proud one and strong, very strong! At least this one lasts!

I was looking for an egg slicer that didn't have wires for slicing. It's all metal and it's beautiful. I definitely recommend it for slicing hard boiled eggs. I haven't tried it with mushrooms, but I think it will work well with them too.

I really like this product. I use it for cutting mushrooms. I like the even slices that come with it, but you'll need to halve or quarter larger mushrooms to fit the unit. He quickly cuts her. I cook more mushrooms with this appliance. I also use it to chop olives for salads, which works great. The locking mechanism makes it easy to store. I had a wire cut that broke after 2 mushrooms. This has been going on for over 6 months and is still going on.

I was so happy to use this product. The locking mechanism was a bit fiddly to use, but despite that, the mushroom/egg cutting part was easy to use. I only used it once, it was put in the dishwasher (most likely the family didn't understand what they were doing) and completely destroyed. I had to throw it away. I couldn't return it because the return window was closed. I understand it says "hand wash recommended" but not "hand wash only". It should say "hand wash only". I do not recommend.

Nice and durable and I would love it except for a few things. The blades are slightly offset from the slots that the blades enter, so sometimes they don't close completely. A little pressure on the sides flattens it out and the blades slide into the slots. It doesn't happen every time, but enough to be annoying and there might only be one slicer that looks like it.
