Great alternative to dealer prices!

The starter motor failed on our zero turn mower and this part cost significantly less than the dealer. My husband was able to fix our mower in no time and it seems to work just as well as the original part.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • Contact Seller

Perfect fit for Kawasaki fr691v

Bought to start neighbor's heavy zero turn. The exchange took about 20 minutes and runs like a champ. I have the same motor on an Exmark zero rpm. If the starter dies, I won't hesitate to take one of these.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Faulty

Fits Kawasaki FR730V

Easy installation (after disconnecting the battery, two bolts and a nut secure the cable) and now my Husqvarna lawn mower starts right away. Collection costs less than the retailer would charge. Very happy. As it stands there are different versions of the FR730V engine but this one looks like a fairly generic starter motor.

Pros
  • handy
Cons
  • unreliable

husqvarna kawasaki fr691v

Worked great when my husqvarna kawasaki fr691v had intermittent starting problems. Finally it started one last time and then I checked all the connections and voltages to the starter with a multimeter. Everything was fine, but the magnet kept clicking. Changed the starter and started immediately. 20 minutes work. 2 screws on the engine. And 2 smaller ones for minus on battery and ground, plus on magnet.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others

Not bad for a girl: Starters and Parts

I drive a Pioneer Exmark. I have a small garden center/landscape business. The car will not start. I ordered this starter and a new solenoid from Amazon. The total price for both is $65.00. The place I usually take my cars to was charging $250 for parts plus labor. I installed everything myself, not bad for a girl, and it started straight away. I have bought many things from rare electricians and have never been disappointed. Including a starter motor for my skid steer loader which also ran…
