Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

the price tag is not the lowest, but here you can really spend half your life with this case, and reschedule it every year in a new way) with this approach, the price tag is not so high. With its pros: everything is convenient, a lot of redevelopment options for all occasions, and for a server with 23 disks and for water, even with 2 huge 480mm radiators, and for a high-performance 2-processor station, and for a quiet, completely closed system with noise and wind the perforated one can be…

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

As for the fan speed controller, I managed to defeat it (so that it could be controlled through the motherboard), set in the BIOS for the connector to which it is connected, control via PWM (it was auto) and in addition to 3 pin fans connected another 4 pin. For those who only have 3 pins powered, try setting the voltage control only, it might work. To be honest, for that kind of money, I would like more flexibility for building a cooling system for the insides (installing fans on the side…

Pros
  • -Stylish and conservative look, nothing more than a formal suit. Now this is a rarity among the buildings, everything was filled with LGBT lighting and glass for backbiters and "gypsies". IMHO -High variability in assembling the personal car of your dreams. -High quality painting. -Good sound insulation (provided that a solid top wall is used). -Possibility of vertical installation of the video card without the use of metal saws and wire cutters. The rear plugs are removed completely and do not have partitions. -Cable management with Velcro straps. -Big and roomy.
Cons
  • -Due to the fact that the front and bottom mounting points in the case have fastenings for both 120 and 140 fans, when 140-mm fans are operating, the intake air, meeting with the fastening elements of 120 mm fans, emits a rumble very similar to the rumble of aircraft propellers. I tested it with fans from Noctuary NF-A15 PWM and Silent Wings 3 140mm from Bikvaet. And this is the biggest minus for me, there is nowhere to hide from this noise, it only helps to drop the revolutions to 500, and then the point is 140 mm !? Maybe it's in these fans, but the pre-installed ones are also buzzing, although not so much. - Although the body is made of normal steel and each element of the frame individually has decent rigidity, they are fastened so that in general the structure walks decently and has poor rigidity, the side walls do not help to add it, as they are attached to the body with latches. -As for the top panel. Instead of making one, but with soundproof inserts in the places where the top fans are installed, i. E. I wanted to install one, dismantled one insert, I wanted two . and so on, we have two extremes, either solid, but without the possibility of heat removal, or all in a mesh with good ventilation, but with no sound insulation. I also had to pay for two covers, one of which will constantly gather dust in the box (the campaign could not have done without marketers). IMHO. -There is no possibility of installing fans on the side cover, opposite the video card. IMHO -Very tight USB ports on the top panel, it was dumb to push through when the flash drive was first introduced.

In general, I am impressed with the solidity of the case and the quality of workmanship. About 7 years ago there was a Define 5 case, I also liked it, but this one is even better. Pouplen for assembly with a 420mm CBO radiator, everything turned out easy, there is a reserve of space, an ATX mother, without a HDD - free space can be used to store 10 kg of potatoes. Poking around in the body is a pleasure.

Pros
  • Accommodates 420mm CBO both top and front. Excellent painting of the body without jambs. Convenience in laying, even under the motherboard there is a hole through which, if necessary, you can remove / install the rear die under the processor. USB type-C, and all ports are on the top of the case, not on the front. 3 fans included. The choice is air or silence due to the removable top panel. Quick release dust screens. Quick release sidewalls. Lack of glass.
Cons
  • Due to the removable mesh from below, when I move it along the floor, I often grab the mesh with my hand, it rolls forward. A simple box.

The case itself is fantastic and I would highly recommend purchasing it, but both the quality control of the case and the availability of disc slots are important issues. One of the drive cages was bent and one of the screws had a critical defect that had to be removed to convert the case to a server configuration. I contacted customer service and tried to get a replacement case but they were out of stock. Revain stepped in as they returned to camp and shipped #2. The material could have been a

It's huge External components

We designed and planned this case so that I could fit everything in it. I can even fit my entire current desktop computer tower with keyboard and mouse in it. Will definitely have fun building this one. And for those who are curious, it even fits into larger EE-ATX boards with plenty of free space for 4+ drives (can get a lot bigger). If you're using laptop-sized SSDs, you can probably install at least 8 drives, not counting NVMe you might have on board. It is very modular. It really depends on

Built like a tank! very durable

This case is amazing! It's very heavy (44 lbs) and feels very solid with plenty of room to work. The photos are not true, it looks even better live, I wanted to keep it in a cupboard but after seeing the case I think it will be on display once it's finished. I bought it for a Server/NAS/VM build. My only complaint is that there aren't any HDD trays available to buy yet, so I can only use 6 at the moment. All my computer cases are gradually becoming Fractal Design!

This Thing Is A Silent Tank - Define 7 XL

Although this case is a bit pricey, it's amazing! The shipping box showed some wear - it was sent by road to a Midwest warehouse for a few days due to adverse weather conditions. Maybe he was dumped once or twice. Absolutely no damage to the contents inside. The case is heavy but can be modified and customized to suit the needs of your build. Cable management is very easy. The only issue I had was the need for extension cords for the SATA data/power cables. I installed a spinning HDD and three…
