Ineffective Filter for Automotive Use

Based on my observations, this filter did not properly protect my engine. It allowed dirt and debris to pass through, causing damage to my car. The only positive aspect is that it was easy to install. However, the cons outweigh this minor benefit as it ultimately failed to do its job effectively. I would not recommend this filter to anyone looking for reliable protection for their car's engine.

I've been using fram for many years. Good product.

I use Fram filters in every car and boat I service. Never had a problem (knock on wood). This new type of cartridge takes me back 60 years. Easy installation on Ecoboost 2.7. Filter and 0-rings fit perfectly: Marine Service LW@ Witt.

Great fit, quality you can trust.

Changed the oil in my F150 and Edge with these filters today. I have a 2.7 liter Ecoboost engine in both cars and they use the same oil filters. I have to say the fit was great and installation was very easy. I have to say that I have never had a car with an external filter before. I used FRAM as I trust this brand and have been using it for over 30 years. Motorcraft filters cost 70 cents more so not quite the price.
