The wrench required to turn the small screw to attach it to the wall is WAY big. It just doesn't fit the screw. I've hung countless accessories like this in my life and this is the first time I've come across it. Makes the whole hook useless because you can't hang it.

I installed it in the kitchen because I didn't have a place to hang my towel. The brushed nickel finish blends in with the rest of the kitchen fixtures and the profile is unobtrusive. Seems well done. I like the open ring because I put it higher and the open ring makes it easier to put towels in and out. The mounting screws are very long. Since I was mounting the ring to the cabinet wall, I used shorter screws.

While refreshing my bathroom with a coat of paint and new fixtures, I spotted a Franklin Brass Voisin towel ring in a satin nickel finish. This is a good towel ring. My wife wanted the ring to be open on one side and not the typical "full circle" ring. We also like that you can install it upside down, so the open side can be left or right. Of course, this means the set screw is now up when the hole is on the left, but I set the ring high enough that neither my wife nor I can see the set screw when it's up.
