Franklin Brass Classic Beadboard Single Decorator Wall Plate/Switch Plate/Cover in Pure White - W35267-PW-C Review

Decent product, unfortunately overpriced. They look a bit cheap, there aren't any prettier ones you'll see at Lowes, Home Depot or even Walmart. What you get is a plastic product with bad details. The box design highlighted in the description is barely recognizable. This product should cost less than $3.50.

I found Franklin brass stuff, used a bunch for a project that was just supposed to be a small "upgrade" from $.40 switches, and ended up with about $1800 worth of colorful decorations worth of nickel swings and rosettes :) At least the powder room was plain white and done rustic with a touch of "beach"

You will only see the details of the sideboard if you look closely. I'm installing in a half bath that has a rim in the bottom half and I was hoping to mirror the look but it doesn't stand out. I'll paint the walls darker, maybe that helps. Works well as a cover but needs more detail.

My house has white metal panels on the outlets and I wanted to replace them with something nicer when we repainted them. They are slightly smaller than the original, so in some cases there is too much clearance around the box. I'll continue with the exchange anyway, but may have to go back and fix some areas to accommodate them.

This product is a counterfeit Franklin Brass. I recently upgraded all my switches to smart switches. While in the lows I bought a Franklin Brass record and thought it looked great. My wife and I decided to renovate the whole house. I go to Revain to order the same ones I bought from Lowes only to get them and they are fake. The quality and design are far inferior to a genuine Franklin Brass shift plate.
