It cuts nicely but the cut is too thin.

The standard riving knife on my DeWalt 7840 portable table saw has a minimum kerf of .093". This blade has a cutting width of .091 inch. Since the actual thickness of the riving knife is .089 inches, it would work if everything were perfectly aligned, but unfortunately it isn't. It's slightly off center and slices against the knife with that blade. I ended up buying another blade with a .098" kerf and have been cutting successfully ever since. Three years later, this guy is still hanging on the

Pros
  • Perma-Shield non-stick coating reduces blade drag, protects against corrosion and tar build-up.
Cons
  • Not the best

It seems like a great value. Excellent finish when cutting layers

Bought as a general purpose blade so I don't use my more expensive blades in plywood cabinets where the finish isn't as important. Judging from a few cuts I made in some of the sheet materials, this is the finished glue. Not the best footage to make a statement, but I didn't see any blade marks at all. Minimal or no veneer tear with zero gap. I have to try to cross the grain to really say it. Not sure you can go wrong for $60. I can't say anything about the life of the carbide yet, but it's…

Pros
  • High-density TiCo carbide provides a sharper edge and a flawless finish, greatly increasing tool life.
Cons
  • Expensive

Unbeatable price

I was hesitant to buy a Fusion. I can only assume that all the hype surrounding Fusion created anticipation. For me the blade worked flawlessly for both cross cutting (I was skeptical as it only has 40 teeth) and ripping. I need to spend more time with the disc but my initial blade usage is seeing Looks promising and I'm quite picky. Clean glue lines, finished cuts, no scorching. You'll have to see how long the blade holds its sharpness as others on the internet say the HI-ATB blade dulls…

Pros
  • 10" blade diameter, 40 teeth, Hi-ATB grind, 5/8" mandrel, .091" kerf, 18° point angle
Cons
  • Low repairability
