Works great for saw blades, parts and accessories

I am very pleased with the performance of this saw blade. If you cut a lot of plywood, especially across the grain of the veneer, this is a joy. This is expensive, but quickly pays for itself in terms of material and time savings. Pair it with a gap-free insert for best results - almost no overshoot and edges look like they came off a crevice. It is also suitable for hard material if you don't want to change the blade with every cut. It's slow compared to a durable specialty blade, but it does…

Excellent blade. I combined this with a zero gap insert.

Excellent blade. I paired this with a Zero Gap Throat for my Delta 36-725 Table Saw as shown here: Delta Power Equipment Corporation 36-501 Zero Gap Throat This bit is great for cross cuts and break free plywood. I'm not sure if it works as well without the Zero Gap insert, but together it's the perfect combination. Prize. However, there is a tendency to burn wood if left too long, so it's always best to use the right combination or a loose blade for ripping cuts.

Beaver for high gloss polishing

Just used a Freud cutting blade on a 7 year old DEWALT original blade miter saw. Wow what a difference. It's like going to a steak knife after cutting a rib eye with chopsticks. I forgot how nice chop cuts can be on a miter saw. I have the same excellent 10" Freud blade for my table saw. Both leave a nice polished finish. The table saw blade is slightly better with its high gloss finish, but the angled blade gives the table saw blade a run for its money. I have a gapless insert on my miter saw…

In fact, this is the ideal plywood

As a hobbyist sawdust maker, I've come to the conclusion that wood cutting tools do the job just fine. My SawStop table saw deserves blades and jigs that match its precision potential. This blade does. I bought this blade to cut oak veneered plywood and I have to say it does the job perfectly. No chips - no splinters! It cuts as fast as I want and leaves a glassy smooth finish. With oak boards, it leaves the same glass surface at the ends. The chart on the blade itself only rates it as slashing

Freud vs. The Gold Standard

This saw blade among other Frued blades has a quality that seems unsurpassed among others. Most people compare it to the "gold standard" Forrest blade. In my personal opinion, having used both for over 10 years, Frued seems to come out on top every time in terms of cut quality, but remember I'm judging this based on the manufacturers' intent for each blade. built for. Frued makes it clear and tells you what type of wood, type of cut, depth of cut and even the ideal HP saw. Following these…
