Broken Part - Kitchen & Dining

Part broke when opened. The heating part was broken into pieces in the box. The bubble wrap only covers the wires and the end of the connection. Now I have to reorder the part and wait another week for the new part. Very dissatisfied.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Perfect! My oven is working again!

I was concerned I would have to replace my entire range but only needed one igniter. Read and follow the instructions carefully or have a service technician perform the installation. (DO NOT touch the item with your hands, use medical gloves for work)

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • is embarrassing

Arrived broken and not made by Broan as shown on the Revain website.

The igniter was packed in a box, only surrounded by foam on 4 sides. Advertised as being made by a Frigidaire maker named Broan on Revain, but was actually "made" by a small company called SiC. The wiring is done in China. Fraud and waste of my time.

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Expensive

No complaints: kitchen and dining room

The first one was damaged in shipping and Revain was more than willing to replace it. The second arrived about a week later, safe and sound, and installation was as easy as changing the igniter: lying on the floor to make the electrical connections, leaning over the stove to secure the igniter. It was exactly what I expected and the oven has been working flawlessly since installation - to my and my wife's delight.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • OK

Update. Then I ordered the 3rd block. Came in perfect condition. Installed great. And it works great. I don't usually have much luck with these things. So I don't think there is anything to worry about. You won't have the same failures as I always have. Perfect purchase I bought one. came broken. Bought another one and started a refund. and it broke. idk if the packaging is too tight or the product is just a horrible fake. but I'm not having much luck. so here I have to shell out another $70…

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

The oven was repaired in 20 minutes.

Most problems with the stove are related to the ignition. If it still works and you smell gas and it burns and gets hot for days and sometimes it doesn't, most likely it is NOT A GAS VALVE. This is an igniter that has probably burned out but still works. It doesn't have enough penetration to ignite the gas and sends missed messages to open and close the gas valve when gas is requested. It was replaced by unhooking the old one with the electrical quick connector and replacing it with this one…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Poor repairability

Perfect for 11 year old Frigidaire oven

Perfect for 11 year old Frigidaire oven. I finally gave it gas and installed it easily and quickly. There are many videos on YouTube showing the process. The only problem I had was that one of the self-tapping screws had loosened a few turns before it wouldn't hook into the bracket anymore. I used a hacksaw to cut off the head and removed the igniter, installing a new one using a remaining screw and the remaining threaded portion of the stripped screw. The original fuze had a protective steel…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Works great!: Kitchen & Dining

This part fixed my oven and cost a lot less than buying it direct from Sears. My symptoms were 1) the stove took a very long time to light, 2) sometimes it never lit, and 3) sometimes when it did light, there was a slight buzzing noise inside the stove. I wasn't sure if it was the igniter or the safety valve. I decided to try the detonator first as the safety valve costs twice as much. Installation took about 10 minutes, after which the oven turned on in just a few seconds. Another plus is that

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
