I've had this chair for about 4 months, it's comfortable except my hips stick to the chair when it's hot (don't have AC in workshop), but that's ok. The back support is great and it was easy to install.

I chose this chair for the strong side supports for the back of the chair. I've had several chairs with a center bracket and all of them eventually broke. I wish the back was higher - it takes some getting used to. The footrest is also ok - if it had been made better I would have given the stool 5 stars.

If you were to spend $300 on a chair like this it would probably be a 10 out of 10. So you get what you pay for. This is a comfortable chair. Good design. I use it on a single work height sewing table, and the fact that it's so compact (while also fitting my whole butt on the seat) and rotates means I can sit for one task and move for the next , and return to her immediately.
