Frost King ACB80H: Small, Heavy-Duty Air Conditioner Support Brackets – Safely Holds 5,000-10,000 BTU Window AC Units (Up to 80 lbs) Review

I have an old metal window frame. I got an air conditioner last year and when I just put it in a window I was endlessly concerned about the damage it might do to the window due to the weight of the air conditioner. That perfectly takes all the weight off him. No worries anymore.

The bracket has previously been opened and resealed and some of the accessories have been left out. However, since I was working on a deadline, I was able to purchase materials at a local hardware store and make do with what I had. I was disappointed but I learned my lesson!

This is a very strong brace that was a lot cheaper to order from Revain than your local Lowes. The instructions are a bit contrived and I had a really hard time positioning it correctly. I have new final windows surrounded by a wood frame and brick molding below. I feel like the brace needs to be longer to accommodate this setup. I realize this is probably an issue with my window, but I would definitely measure twice before ordering.
