Accord 2014 fit for parts

No complaints, great for my 2014 Honda Accord. The strap will most likely just be cut off, since figuring out how to attach it to the lid is almost impossible.

Clean and new spare parts

Fits my '06 Civic - Gas cap

Fits my 2006 Honda Civic perfectly. My previous gas cap was causing problems that caused the check engine light to come on. After months of driving with a new cap it has not come back.

The car has a fuel cap light

The car has a fuel cap indicator light so I'm guessing some fumes are escaping through the gas cap and it doesn't have a factory mold for the strap so the gas cap won't hold this and that not tight, is barely long enough when the fuel filler flap is open

Works well with gas caps

Bought for my '05 Accord LX although it WORKS the new strap to attach to the body is a silly joke. Took 5 minutes to put it on, not in the same style as the old gas cap. Then I tried to tighten it and the ring that goes around the gas cap and is supposed to rotate just ties and rips the strap out of the hole. So I just cut the tape and will keep using the cover.

A good solution for a broken cap

The plastic cable that connects the cap to the fuel filler flap has snapped. The connection was a bit difficult. At the end of the plastic cable is a larger tip that fits into a larger plastic base that attaches to the inside of the fuel filler flap. I had to break off this black plastic base with a screwdriver to pry out the old broken cable and insert the new cable. I then attached it to this base by wrapping a zip tie around the base and cutting off the excess zip tie and it worked great.

So when he started bending, I immediately bent back. But when the "Check Tank Cap" light came on in my car, I bought this little mama right here and she did the JOB! She's cheap like my Tuesday…
