Description of Fujifilm X T4 Mirrorless Camera Body

Putting stability in your hands: A huge part of creating great photos or videos is making sure you are in the right place at the right time – and that often means making handheld images to get to the heart of the action. X-T4’s state-of-the-art, five-axis In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) provides up to 6.5 stops of image stabilization to make sure that, even in the midst of all the excitement, your images remain steady and sharp. Combine this with the new four-axis digital image stabilizer, and you have lots of room to maneuver. Performance you can rely on: For any serious image maker, having a tool that can be relied upon to perform flawlessly whenever it is required is extremely important. For this reason, X-T4 features a newly developed mechanical shutter that is the fastest and most robust in the history of the X series. Not only can it make images at 15 frames per second, but it is also rated for 300,000 actuations 2. When you combine this with its larger capacity battery that is capable of up to 600 frames per charge 2, X-T4 has the power and the durability to give you the peace of mind that you’ll never miss the perfect opportunity. Find the best angle for your story: When chasing the perfect image, versatility is key, so the last thing you want is to be hampered by awkward angles. The 1.62 million pixel vari-angle touchscreen LCD featured on X-T4 can be adjusted to make it visible from a wide range of positions. This not only gives you a high-quality monitor to frame with, but also provides quick and simple controls when you need them most. On the flip side, there are times when you need to minimize the light and distractions that a screen can create. That’s why X-T4’s LCD has been designed to easily fold away so it is completely hidden from view, leaving the updated 3.69 million pixel/100fps electronic viewfinder to help you focus on the moment at hand. When your story needs movement: The modern image maker is blurring the lines between photography and videography, and X-T4 has been designed to celebrate this new generation of hybrid creativity. With the simple flick of a switch, movie mode is activated, meaning X-T4 is capable of recording both professional-level DCI 4K/60p and Full HD/240p super slow-motion video. It is also possible to record F-Log footage in 10-bit color, straight to the card. What’s more, the innovative AF-C subject tracking works in low-light conditions down to -6EV and the camera’s use of a new, high capacity battery lets you push your creative limits. Powerful image manipulation made easy: For over 85 years, Fujifilm has produced photographic films that have been used by some of the world’s best-known moviemakers to create some of the world’s most successful movies. This legendary reputation in color science is celebrated with their hugely popular selection of Film Simulations, which digitize some of the industry’s most iconic films and puts them right at your fingertips. X-T4 introduces Eterna Bleach Bypass, the newest addition to this much-loved collection of film simulation modes available in the X Series product line, which creates a beautiful de-saturated, high-contrast look that any image-maker will find irresistible.

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

I switched from the X-T30 (the lack of matrix stabilization was annoying - you can only shoot video on it from a tripod). On the X-T4, video from the hands of an amateur level is quite real. You can’t do a professional without a body kit, but just for yourself - it’s easy. We were pleased with the stabilization, quiet fast shutter, comfortable grip (of course, exactly in comparison with the X-T30). A more capacious battery is also good, yet this is a weak point of mirrorless cameras so far. In…

Pros
  • Matrix stabilizer - significantly simplifies pictures of landscapes and still lifes, and portraits, if not in dynamics, handheld. Very effective (although there are competitors who are even better). Traditionally for Fuji - the colors of the pictures and the possibility of a very rich choice from the built-in "film" profiles (more relevant for video - where color correction subsequently takes more time). Good autofocus (not without flaws, there may be problems with floating focus in the video, with face recognition turned on, it can easily be mistaken for something extraneous). Good battery capacity for a mirrorless camera. Excellent native lenses (it’s better to focus on the XF line, but XC is also nothing - controversial reviews are only about the XC 15-45). Convenient settings right on the case. Convenient latches for some settings, reducing the chance of accidental scrolling. Two SD cards with support for high recording speeds, plus an external HDMI output for videographers who suddenly do not have enough built-in functions. Very fast (15 fps) mechanical shutter, which is also much quieter than the predecessor T3 or T30. Not a bad implementation of HDR, especially when shooting through an electronic shutter in bright light. At least, comparing with the analogue of Nikon D750, I can confidently say: there, in fact, it is a non-working thing, here, in bright sunlight and high shutter speed, it is quite working.
Cons
  • There is no flash on the case. That is, you must immediately pay for the external, if there is a need. I have a need once in a hundred shots, I still had to take the cheapest flash from Fuji (more than 6000, however). Crop, so ISO 1600 is already so-so, and it is better to use higher only when nothing will work without it at all. The grip, of course, is noticeably better than all the other X-series Fujis, but is still inferior to the competitors Canon, Nikon, Panasonic. Errors in autofocus, accepting branches, shadows on the wall and xs what kind of face. I did not compare with competitors, maybe they have the same thing. But still, it's sad for me. Price. Now from 117 thousand for gray, which, of course, is dofiga. But after the announcement, the price was first set at 122 thousand for white (but in fact it turned out to be 140+). But the rate jumped, and now only gray goods are cheap without a normal guarantee, yes.

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Despite all the disadvantages voiced and argued by me, I believe that this is the best hybrid photo / video camera under 200k at the time of December 1, 2022. The opinion of a person who bought Sony FX3 a couple of days ago and used BlackMagic Pocket 4k before. Attached are screenshots from the video (Fujifilm X-T4, Sigma 18-35, Tiffen BlackPromist 1/2, FilmConvert)

Pros
  • Excellent detail lovely color, Long-playing Akum Detailed and bright display 2 memory card slots Viewfinder like ff. Relatively light files. Convenient management Stabilizer (I would classify it as both a plus and a minus, because even by the end of my era with Fujifilm, I did not learn how to adequately work with it)
Cons
  • Poor ergonomics without a cage Shooting limit of 30 minutes The absence of autofocus as such through a fringer adapter with Canon optics (Video filming), it seems to be there, but it works like in Panasonic, through one place, I don’t want to say anything about native optics for fuj, the experience of using it was with the adapter and that was all I was interested in . Relatively poor lowlight, compared directly with Sony a73 and tampon 28-75, slightly wins in noise due to sigma at aperture 1.8, but if compared with blackmagic, which has a mat matrix, or even more so Sony fx3, then the result is so-so. Perhaps, of course, I myself am spoiled by an abundance of opportunities, but what upset me most of all was lowlight, the limit in my opinion is 5000 isto, then unpleasant noise already climbs, and this is only in 4k, in 1080 in general, in my opinion, you can’t shoot dark scenes, apparently due to the structure of the matrix, the image crumbles, regardless of the bitrate.

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

Video from him, I was extremely impressed. Soft, cinematic. 120-240 fps, subject to sufficient lighting, is just a fairy tale when shooting dynamic scenes. Shooting video in 4k can be paused and take a frame for processing. I don’t see the point in talking about the photo, it all depends on the hands, light, lens, place, phase of the earth, etc. If it converges, then I’m satisfied with the result. Continuous shooting works as it should. But it’s worth understanding that before that I had a…

Pros
  • Matrix stabilization Menu / ergonomics Functional Picture setting Excellent raw compression algorithm Moisture protection Comfortable weight Many functional buttons on the case and the ability to reassign them to suit your needs.
Cons
  • In principle, there are none, since when buying this camera, expectations are fully justified. The swivel screen is not very convenient when working, the large frames around it remove the usable area, but you can see the picture completely from the waist.

Just super, it's beautifully made, I'm very happy with it.

I was really looking forward to the stabilizer in the X-T series. The stub works fine, it heats up when shooting in 4K, but I shoot very few videos, mostly short ones, so it’s not critical for me. I was very pleased with the new battery, I calmly shoot 700-800 frames, besides, it is larger, which increased the size of the grip, it became more convenient. The new charger charges two batteries, which is very convenient. The burst shooting speed is one of the best in the class, the mount is…

Pros
  • Stabilization Battery Ergonomics Autofocus operation Two memory cards
Cons
  • No charger included.

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

Some pros: Great jpeg shots with built-in film profiles. Large selection of video modes. Fully working HDR mode for photos (in good light - for example, on a sunny day) A large number of settings for every taste. High-quality optics (meaning an 18-55 lens with F 2.8-4) Excellent stabilization. Capacious battery (periodic on / off, shooting video 4 to + photo in RAW - up to an hour and a half) All the main shooting parameters on physical buttons and knobs (you can customize it for yourself - not

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I bought the camera recently, so I have not had time to fully enjoy the new model. But so far I note that neither the picture nor the control of the device has become worse. Everything I like about Fuji is there. Film imitation is still on top. There are new versions of black and white images that delight. Eterna - for an amateur. Come in handy. Pros below: The new camera of the famous X-T series is now with sensor stabilization, which works quite effectively. Added new types of simulated…

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

I took a gray raskitovka, in general, I did not regret anything. I took for video filming and filming people, proved to be worthy Different pros: Excellent sharpness at ISO up to 800 with red lenses Excellent HDR, good equalization, the ability to reconfigure all controls for yourself. 240 FPS in video and of course stub The battery is on top, on a single charge it kept a day of active photography through the viewfinder. Has some cons Still not as comfortable grip, but already better than the…

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

lightroom is not suitable for x-trans, use Capture One Different pros: Stunning colors straight from the camera; Explanatory emulation of films; Film camera aesthetics; Burst speed is one of the best in the class; protection against dust / moisture is really tested - often shot on the beach) Very convenient and visual control, the ability to flexibly customize everything for yourself. Excellent original lenses. Also, this is an excellent video camera, I periodically shoot with two cameras…

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

Having decided to switch from DSLRs to bzk (from Nikonov d5500 and d750), I almost immediately settled on Fujik, then T3 had just come out, I fell in love with the appearance, ergonomics and built-in film profiles, a camera that inspires, that you don’t want to let go of, but something stopped everything, and the battery is too small, you have to carry a handful, and there is still no stub and the screen would be swivel (ideally swivel at the same time, like in T3 and T4, and there is such a…

Pros
  • Design! Ergonomics! stub new high capacity battery reinforced bayonet increased shutter life
Cons
  • No separate charger included

Excellent product, the best quality.

Long thought, until he decided to buy. Before that, there were 2 x-t3 for a short time) and x-t4 was rented. Chose between panasonic s5 and x-s10. The s5 didn't pull it off with expensive lenses, but it's unarguably the best buy if you have the money. x-s10 is a cool, small camera, but the presence of 2 card slots and an "all-weather" case is critical for me. fuji has very reasonable prices for lenses and cameras, which was a decisive factor in choosing a system as a whole.

Pros
  • -characteristics - film imitation - 2 slots for sd -battery -stub -switch photo-video mode -Lut -burst speed -price (cheaper than competitors)
Cons
  • - no headphone jack 3.5 -hdmi -grip subjectively: 1) Autofocus in the video, if it's critical for anyone. 2) Restriction in video recording 30 min. (It is logical that video cameras exist for this, but still) 3) Heating 4) No charger included 5) When using x-t3 black and silver, I encountered paint peeling on the edges of the camera bodies. Shabby silver looks poor, black more or less. I hope they improved the coating in x-t4, of which there are doubts)))

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

The X-T4 is a great machine. The only downside here is the price. And even then, in our "time of troubles", if the wallet allows, then everything is not so expensive. The second, controversial point is the rotary screen. But here it’s already 50/50%, at some points (for example, in the closed position it is also the protection of the display), it is convenient, in some, no. I think it's a matter of habit. 3rd - battery. Those who have accumulated a bunch of batteries and have cameras of the…

Pros
  • An excellent camera in every way. Color, stub, reinforced mount, new battery. Fuji well done, fulfilled all the wishes of users! In general, this is a cross between X-H1 and X-T3, more precisely, X-H2 released in the body of X-T3.
Cons
  • price, no charger included
