I bought this brush to replace another fungus cleaning brush I've had for years and had better days. The wood is all warped and cracked) These bristles are hard right now. They destroy the fungus almost with the slightest pressure. Not at all what I expected. The last thing I had was more like a brush and I just brushed off the dirt - it's like treating a root canal. I would recommend finding something else that is softer and doesn't do as much damage to the veggies.

Hello, I just love this little thing. I eat a ton of potato dishes and cook a bunch at a time in an Instant Pot Electric pressure cooker, another kitchen should have a solid little brush and base anyway, the eye remover is just great, easy on my fingers! Wood or base material gives off water, the brush is hard and dries quickly. Looks solid, time will tell, but with the right care it should last a while! Hope this helps with your decision. I saw this product recommended in a major women's magazine. (Not advertised but recommended in the article). When I ordered my Salad Shooter Pro from amazon.com, I also ordered this little gadget. I've never met a potato I didn't like, so this little thing comes in very handy. I used to use a vegetable peeler or knife to remove the "eyes" of a potato, but this results in quite a bit of waste.
