Description of Fulton Spring Clamp Pliers Clasps

If you have ever attempted to firmly secure and clamp mitered corners then you know what kind of a challenge it can be to say the least. You could always try those large, cumbersome and very expensive parallel clamps to try and work each corner just right to hold your mitered corners together. That too can be extremely challenging and not to mention very costly. The Fulton Miter Spring Clamps are the ideal and cost effective way to quickly and easily clamp mitered corners without all of the hassle you typically have with other clamps. The Spring Miter Clamps are made from a high strength steel. The clamps can be applied using your hand to squeeze the clamp to open the sharp, pointed tips or you can use the Miter Spring Pliers to make it super easy to to spread the tips apart. Once you have the clamp tips spread apart, simply place the spring clamp onto the mitered corner you need to secure, then release the clamp so the tips pierce into the wood and keep your stock in place. Depending on the size of your project, you may need to use more than one spring clamp on each corner to hold your stock in place. Unlike other available spring clamps, the Fulton Miter Spring Clamps don’t cut into your stock piece. The uniquely designed tips are designed to pierce the wood so that there is minimal visible evidence of the clamps being used after you remove them. Other brands of spring clamp use a one sided cut on the clamp tip which pushes, cuts and tears at the wood which tends to leave harsh looking blemishes once the clamp is removed. These spring miter clamps are perfect for carpenters, contractors, woodworking enthusiasts, art and craft hobbyists and more. Clamp picture frames, moldings, octagons and more with confidence. The clamps work perfectly with the Fulton Miter Spring Pliers and can be used on a wide variety of of wooden materials. Made in the USA.

A little flimsy - Clamps

Would like to see a slightly thicker wire, maybe that would make them a lot stronger, not as strong as I thought. The price was good and they are easy to use.

  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Blank

Rescue Spring Clips

This created an 8.5 x 12 foot black walnut accent wall with 112 beveled corners. Without these spring clips, the project wouldn't have turned out as accurate.

This is a very valuable and useful tool.

. These came with a spring opening tool and were good value for money. I used them on a white ash pan lid and they held perfectly at a 45 degree angle.

Pros
  • . Pleasant to use.
Cons
  • . Questionable purchase for the elderly.

Essential for trim

I've seen them on youtube videos, I installed the trim and they work great, they hold the outside corners closed while the glue sets and you nail them on. The pins leave a very small hole that is easy to fill with putty.

Pros
  • Some competitors
Cons
  • are unreliable

Great for gluing at an angle

I'm a carpenter and use a lot of staples, glue and nailers. I found this set of clamps to be invaluable. The marks left by the clamp springs correspond to the end nail. When used on site at the installation site, you can turn the spring clip by one degree to the side. The spring clips are strong enough to hold your parts together but allow for movement so you can align your parts. Indispensable for moldings and panels.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin
