The installation was very eastern, I was lucky with the outlet high on the wall, otherwise I feel the cord would detract from the view.

Green is lighter in real life. I wish the dragonfly blue was a little bolder to match the green and orange, but it's still very pretty. Matches the green/orange night light also available on Amazon from another seller (though without the blue one of course).

The light was actually supposed to be a wall light. This lantern doesn't have a plug and needs to be hardwired, so I can't use it unless an electrician switches the outlet. The description says "wired power" which to me means you can plug in a cable. Cannot be returned either as the styrofoam packaging fell apart when opened along with the very cheap box. Sad. Update! Thank you Tube! A connector has been added to the wiring of the lamps. Now the lamp hangs beautifully.

They are beautiful and perfect for hallway lighting. The color shines through well, but not critically. With dimmed bulbs the light coming from them is distinctly orange, but with brighter bulbs (100w equivalent) it's just a nice warm colour. A great trick we found: by tilting the base of the lamp mount a bit, you can mount standard sized lamps - the bottom lamp tilts up more to give more room, and the top lamp tilts under the edge so you don't end up with a bare lamp. stick out.

So #1 is real glass, but if you expect individual pieces of glass to have a unique texture/thickness properly leaded like a $500 stained glass lamp is this is not the case.
