📦 Furinno FG19749 Tioman Natural Hardwood Outdoor Storage Box Review

I bought it because I knew it wouldn't be perfect. Maybe varnish or paint. But when I opened it, there were so many unacceptable problems that it was impossible to fix them. I counted at least 3 different types of wood, all wood was dry, split and untreated, and 2 frames had wood split down the middle. To fix it, the whole thing had to be (even more) disassembled, sanded, glued and reinforced, polished and painted. It will be cheaper to go to a hardware store and do it yourself.

It's a lot weaker than it looks and people make it out to be. The 4 side panels are plates maybe 1/8 inch thick and I was afraid of breaking them twisting them together. I kinda sat on them to check but I don't think they would hold up well if I put my full 200 pounds in them. on him. I think I noticed a small gap in the slats at the top that let some water through. I haven't looked closely, but I also only keep furniture covers in there when I use the furniture. Looks very nice, just not quite

Overall the storage box seems good - easy enough to put together apart from the lack of hinges which the instructions/information mentions.
