Not suitable for hardwood floors. He will glide very easily and naturally. I had to replace them all. They work great on carpets, but any smooth surface like hardwood will slip when you sit on the chair. I've even aged hardwood so that it has rough edges, but these roller cups are so hard and smooth they just slide around.

I know it's a bit odd to look at. But our bed slid on the wooden floor in our bedroom when our kids bumped into it or jumped on it. Thanks to these caps, the bed no longer slides and actually stays in place. Ugly? Like, like, something like. but they do their job and are actually pretty unobtrusive when in place, which was definitely the goal.

I read some reviews about it being plastic and cracking and rubber. I received plastic that has cracks and is waste. waste of money for me. I need my money back! Do not do that! I would give zero stars if I could. I hate leaving bad reviews when we all have problems but in my opinion they stole my money with this product.

ATTENTION, these cups are made of HARD PLASTIC. It's my fault for not reading the description. Putting your sofa on a rug in it is fine, but not at all for a bare floor - you'll slither across your room. Arrived on time, well packaged.
