In general, this is cheap brown plastic that is slippery, so the furniture slides on the parquet floor, but since they are cups, not felt pads, that's where they come from from the legs of the furniture when moved. The product is a waste of money. We bought it so our small child wouldn't push the end table across the room on the hardwood floor. The table's legs already have nylon feet to prevent scratching the floor, so the goal is to prevent children from moving it. We previously purchased a set of rubber tv stand cups from another brand which worked great but were no longer available. It is designed for stationary furniture and should not allow that furniture to move when pushed. Because it's made of slippery, thin plastic, it'll slide across the hardwood floor as the kids push the table these mugs are under. This product is not intended for furniture that moves with regular use (such as tables and chairs) as it will not stick to the underside of the legs like sticky felt pads do. The cups are for furniture that needs to stay in place.
