1 star deducted due to missing batteries. You can imagine that a $90 toy could have $4 batteries in it. Also, it's 1.5V, weird batteries that nobody keeps at home :)

My granddaughter loved it. I just wish it had batteries in it because I didn't know it didn't. When she opened it, we couldn't use it right away. I ordered another Fur Real toy from another seller and it came with batteries so will check again in the future. However, she really liked the toy!

My daughter kept asking for this for Christmas and although I thought she would probably never play with it I found it a lot cheaper here than any of my local stores so I bought it anyway. She LOVES this dog, plays with him CONSTANTLY and even got him into a show 'n' story. The sleep mode is awesome, and I wish all toys did it just as well. Very important. Thank you!

My son is 7 years old and got this for Christmas. He loves this dog very much. He took him to school to show and tell and all the children wanted to play with him. He goes on all our family outings and sits in the back seat with the kids in their seatbelts. Even his grandparents were amazed and said they wanted the same thing. I already knew he couldn't walk, but the fact that he's agile and can do so much more makes up for it. Highly recommend to anyone of any age.

This toy is overpriced. I think it costs a maximum of 50 dollars. He is tall and handsome but does very little. My child likes to make the dog poop and fart, but it doesn't always work. We also had problems with the lick function. The only commands the dog followed were "high five" and "catch the bone in your mouth." The toy doesn't do much more than what I mentioned. My child played with it several times over the course of a few days and hasn't touched it since. All children are different…

Pros: My 3 and 5 year old kids love this toy and can play with it for about 30 minutes before leaving to do something else . several times a day. The Bad: Aside from being overpriced, there were a few things that let me down. One for the price of a toy including the necessary batteries would be fine. Second, treats get lost easily, although a small holder is included. Third, the small holder for small deer is quite difficult to open. Overall kids love this toy but I think a cheaper alternative…

One of the best furreal pets and excellent quality! This dog is so cool. Didn't open it because it's a Christmas present but I already bought Lexi and she's so funny! Lexi is exclusive to Wal-Mart. I mean this dog can flip his bone, eat, poop, howl, sing, shake his paws, high five, and if you get two they're supposed to interact, which I'm excited to try.
