Good memory good price

I have used G.Skill memory several times and have never had a marriage. This set is no exception. The real DRAM chips are made by Samsung, so this device is 100% branded device. If you are looking for DDR4-2400 memory modules to upgrade your laptop, this is one of the best options. I installed them on an ASUS VivoBook S530FA laptop and had no problems. It started immediately, recognized the new memory and has been working great ever since. I ran four cycles of MemTest86 and these flash drivesโ€ฆ

Won't work for my Dell XPS 15 (Mid 2016)

I've read a lot of reviews and seen that some said they would work and others said they wouldn't. I took a chance, installed it, rebooted, used the machine for a bit and then suddenly it rebooted. I've encountered this behavior many times over the course of a day or two. I put the original memory back in and everything worked fine again. I ordered the memory from Crucial (I think on paper the specs of the two memory sets are exactly the same) and it has been working great for several monthsโ€ฆ

Good high and mid range RAM

Ever since I received my laptop I have wanted to upgrade various components, recently I decided to buy new RAM, I have looked through a lot here on Revain and Decided on this one due to the CL and clock speed I originally intended to only get 16GB but when I stumbled upon this one it fit exactly what I was looking for and as it was a bet price than many other options, decided I myself for 32 GB. This is the famous Ram brand. Nothing more to say, I would recommend this to anyone looking for aโ€ฆ

Great seller, good chips. Not compatible with my XPS 9550 though

These RAM modules didn't work in my Dell XPS 9550 because they fail the built in diagnostics test in Dell Bios (F12) and crash windows after loading RAM. The accident exits the screen as an animated hodgepodge of horizontal lines. The seller was very good at accepting returns and I even ordered a second pair to see if there was a problem with the chips. Same problem. After further research, it turned out that the standard RAM on the 9550 has CL=15, while these sticks have CL=16.

  • Good to use

So far so good. Best in Computer Components

I have 4 x 16 for my iMac (Retina 5K, 27"2017) I'm very hardcore Photoshop and After Effects and that (along with Scratch Disk nvme m.2 thunderbolt 3) made my turnaround time so wonderful so far it's good it hasn't been used with other brands of memory (including the 8GB installed in an iMac that I removed) so I can do not discuss compatibility with other brands.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • I don't have much to complain about, everything is fine

Works great.

I started playing Fortnite with my kids on my laptop. He kept slowing down and hanging. It was great value for money. Received on time. I watched a short installation video and got it up and running probably within 15 minutes of receiving it. Interestingly, this seemed to slow my startup speed, not much, probably by a few seconds, but overall performance improved greatly. Fortnite benchmarking lags at times, but I believe it's Wi-Fi, not RAM, and crashes are rare, but I believe it's gameโ€ฆ

Easy to install. All you have to do is unscrew the back of the laptop and gently pry off the back. Using a plastic card like a credit card will help detach the backing. I used an opening pick and started with the hinge where there is little space between the back panel and the laptop. I carefully inserted the picture of the guitar between the back panel and the laptop to separate them. Move the pickaxe around the entire perimeter until the back part comes loose. Then just slide the old RAM'sโ€ฆ

Great solution for any laptop

We've been using G.Skill for 6 months to upgrade laptops and this round has been just as impressive as the previous one. If you have a laptop that can support up to 32GB and you find it difficult to multitask that laptop every time (especially if you work with complex programs like CAD, video editing, etc.), then this leap in memory will do wonders for you. We usually take our systems through hell and back, encoding videos, working on graphics, editing audio, testing different hardware/gadgetsโ€ฆ

The best memory for a laptop.

Some reviews said it didn't work. You must first know the limitations of your machines and not confuse RAM. Install anyway. A matching set is best. This is the third machine I've installed 4 x 64GB sticks on. One in ASUS G751JY and G752VY and again in Dell P51. All work fine with lower latency than standard Samsung OEM modules that cost more. Anything over 2400MHz in a laptop is a waste of time as there is no option in the BIOS to set it and 2400 is the maximum. This will install SPD. The first
