As a fan of playing video games on my Wii U, I always want to ensure my gamepad lasts as long as possible. With this protective rubber shell, I can rest easy knowing it will protect my gamepad from scratches and damage. It's lightweight, easy to install and doesn't alter the feel of the gamepad in any way. The only downside is that it can be difficult to remove once it's on, but that's a small price to pay for the protection it provides. Overall, it's a must-have accessory for any Wii U gamer.

It's tactile and soft, it looks like it will give my four and six year old some protection from falls. We have concrete floors so I needed something quick to absorb the shock and that seems to help. I don't know how much drop protection it has because it's a bit flimsy, but it will certainly help.

As other reviews have pointed out, this does not allow the controller to be charged via the Wii U's official charging dock. I ended up cutting off the bottom so the lid could slide over the dock and charge the controller again. -1 star. The material warps in some areas of the touchscreen.
