Can't tell yet if they make an airtight seal but they are strong, match well and fit buckets well. It's easy to see why the generic product is called Gamma Lids, even though other companies make them too.

Leak! wear it right It flows between the cap and the adapter ring, not between the bucket and the adapter. I'm trying to return this one as everything is fine there after putting the adapter ring on the bucket. At least I can't take it off. I will update the review as soon as I get a response from the company.

This set was an addition to another set I had had for a long time. The lids are perfect for 5 gallon cans and create a tight seal that's perfect for storing things like bird seed, concrete melting salt, and other bulk items. The contents stay dry and are easily accessible thanks to the twist-off lid.

I cannot stress enough how good these lids are, if you have buckets that you need to access without a lid opener this is the best design I have found. Feel free to just buy it, you'll thank me later. I use a soft mallet to stick to the bucket so I don't damage the lid when I first put it on. Very strong and sturdy easy to roll on and off and makes my hands a million times happier as I have arthritis and these caps prevent further pain for me. Thanks for this invention!
