mm tiny targets that are rarely thrown up

The target was bought for use with an airgun. It's a tiny box and super tiny little targets. Even when we hit targets, they rarely block. It's just not fun for my (supervised) 13 or 15 year olds. Perhaps the power of our air pistol is simply not enough for this purpose. Regardless, this box is too small and the targets are too small. I built a much bigger wooden box to put this target in so we can collect more BBs that miss. Forget it.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Weight

Disappointing on targets

Device is small only 8 inches wide and 5 targets are very small. It is very difficult to hit a target with a pistol at 10-15 feet. The two outer circular targets are approximately 1" tall and the two inner circular targets are approximately 1" tall. Designed to drop round targets, the central square target measures about an inch and a half. I say "should work" because it rarely happens. Very disappointing because the concept is good and well done. This doesn't work well with airguns at lowโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Slightly torn

If you're worried about the size, read on.

Revain reports the following dimensions: Product dimensions: 18.9 x 13.78 x 7.87 inches; 1.9 pounds. Several reviews say it's 11 x 6 x 6 inches. It is actually 8" x 6.375" x 6.375" which is a far cry from the manufacturer's claim. I haven't been able to use it yet because the nonstick coating came two days after I ordered it, Revain has more than $10 off what I paid so I'm returning the first one and ordering a new one for less than $25 I'm disappointed with the size and might still decide toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • Requires power outlet

"It's clinker! " for targets

A quote from A Christmas Carol. Works fine, little trap. Even if you miss and hit the apron, you need to aim well. Good portable size for traveling. Can be taken to friends: garage/backyard/party/anywhere. It's easy to tell if you're hitting the target or the apron, because even if the target doesn't fully rise (e.g. if you hit the side of the target) the target will still move, VS if you hit the Pinch my apron, I'll do something else. Sound. Shot about 1000 rounds, it seems to withstand hitsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Slightly poorly designed but works well

UPDATE: After purchasing Gamo and being disappointed with the small size, I purchased a magnetic pellet trap. It's much bigger with much bigger goals. I'm much happier with it than Gamo. (See photo for size comparison) First Review: Like some others, my case came with one of the weird puck-like connectors missing. (See photo) This caused one of the rods to come loose and end up at the bottom of the trap. I reassembled the rod/spring mechanism and replaced the washer which turned out to be loose

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Cool target setup but limited to low powered airguns

I finally have this target I've been dreaming of for years. It's sold by Gamo, the same brand of airgun I bought and gave away 6 years ago just because it was so loud because of the 1250 fps bullet velocity. The recommended projectile speed is below 1000 fps. In fact, it's under 700fps, meaning it's a great practice shotgun for high-end shooting at targets averaging under 600fps, or inexpensive ballguns that fall into the same category. A PCP that fires out bullets at 1000 fps, so this gunโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality construction
