Used for capturing wildlife videos. As long as the external 12V SLA battery is charged, there is no need to replace the dry battery. Record 16-20 videos a day and recharge your external battery about every 6 weeks. Our wild life in upstate New York includes foxes, deer, bears, raccoons, skunks, hawks, possums and wolves. I have tried several more expensive cameras and this is by far the best. They have excellent support service. I needed help with the initial setup.

I bought several cameras. This one is far superior to all others. The main plus is the large SD card. Stay away from cameras that use a micro SD card. They are difficult to process. It's easy to get lost in tall grass. The switch must be on or off. Stupid others who have three positions are just stupid. I like the activation method. Turn it on and let the camera count down the number of seconds, or there's a dedicated button to turn it on instantly.

Pretty decent set. It's pretty easy to program and has a pretty decent detection range. Good quality photos. But I had to go back. Set the date and time multiple times. I've even tried resetting the device a couple of times, but every time it goes to sleep or you turn it off and on again, it goes back to 1/31/19 6:00 AM. Also between pictures! So on all photos and videos the date is 01/31/19 06:00. It doesn't help if the date and time are wrong and all images have the same time.

I was hesitant to buy a wildlife camera as the reviews were everywhere regardless of the price of the camera. The perceived high price did not translate into better quality or performance. This camera does a very good job and I'm happy with it - no cons so far. Highly sensitive motion detection, mouse set recording. Night shots are clear and daytime shots are very bright. We have two other brands of gaming cameras but this is by far the best we've used. The quality is excellent day and night. I included a still image during the day and a video at night of our guest at a party. We bought it so we can see what's going on in our garden at night while we sleep.
