Elegantly beautiful

Easy to put together and has a very simple beauty. I pla on growing clematis up it on a little hill that will make it show off against the sky line. A perfect setting

Pros
  • The height of the obelisk makes it visible from afar, making a statement in the garden
Cons
  • The obelisk may require additional support or bracing to prevent it from tilting or collapsing

Perfect for my garden

They are great. Nice and tall, sturdy and very easy to put together. I don't think they could have made it any easier to put together.

Pros
  • Not what I expected but will work.
Cons
  • Not very good. Don't like it at all.

Nice obelisk, but poor design for assembling.

It is a nice obelisk. The one big negative is that the legs don't stay together with the rubber sleeves. Why didn't they have the legs connect with screws instead? Dumb engineering. Also the top spike is very hard to screw tight. Finally, why didn't they use Phillips head screws? Instead they use pozidriv, which I never even heard of. How many people own a pozidriv screwdriver? I used a Phillips, which I had. Come on people, use common sense!

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • The obelisk may be considered too expensive for a simple garden accessory

not exceptionally sturdy

Very nice decorative obelisk but not terribly sturdy. In the process of assembly some of the parts bent a little. Since I have it covered in vines - the bends don't show - and it serves a good purpose - but I was disappointed that it was so light weight and could not use it as I originally had planned.

Pros
  • The obelisk can be used to create a stunning entrance or pathway in the garden
Cons
  • The black color may change the temperature of the soil around the obelisk, potentially negatively impacting plant growth

Great Obelisk for my opinion

Simple to assemble, better quality materials and taller than the trellises and obelisks available at my local brick-and-mortar stores. I like the simplicity of the design: no doo-dads. Perfect!

Pros
  • Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Nice!
Cons
  • The metal material may not be environmentally friendly

Attractive, not easy to install

The Obelisk is easy to assemble, but a little difficult to install. It comes with a pipe to make holes in the ground to insert the obelisk 18 inches. These hole need to be pretty accurate, both in location being vertical. I would suggest using a level and making a cardboard pattern to lay out the holes. The bolts rusted and I would use stainless steel bolts if I could find the correct ones in my hardware store.

Pros
  • It is easy to assemble, saving time and effort
Cons
  • It may be difficult to replace or repair if damaged

a little difficult to put together

This obelisk is tall! It is a great feature that adds height and vertical interest. I bought this with the intention of training bougainvilleas on it, as well as camouflaging a cracked block wall, and it's serving its purpose as intended. My package came with the instructions, so knowing how to fit it all together was fine, but the pieces didn't fit perfectly in line. This caused a couple of issues. The obelisk isn't perfectly straight, and it's because the screw holes don't align. You can…

Pros
  • Weather-resistant black polyester epoxy coating
Cons
  • The obelisk may be too obtrusive and draw attention away from the natural beauty of the garden

Helps to have patience.

A few things I did that I found made it easier to assemble; I organized the pieces, and used a hand screwdriver, a cordless would have been too much power. Started by putting the first two sets of leg extensions together leaving the finial loose but attached. I also did this on a warm sunny day and I believe letting the rubber sleeves warm up they went on more easily. When attaching the three circular pieces I started from the bottom up and did not tighten the screws in all the way as I had to…

Pros
  • Plant Cages & Supports
Cons
  • The structure may create additional shade, which can negatively impact plant growth

Manufacturing Defect. Unusable.

Product came with a manufacturing defect. The top portion of a matched set had one leg 2” too short. Can’t assemble as-is.

Pros
  • Love it.
Cons
  • It may not be able to support certain types of climbing plants or vines
