🔌 Garmin Power/Data Cable 010-12445-00 with Threaded 4-Pin Connector Review

This was just what I needed to be able to remotely control my Garmin GPS chartplotters from my boat! Great price and OEM component.

Includes fuse and threaded cap. Can be used with or without thread as needed. Works well, just a bit expensive for 4 wires.

As advertised, connected directly to my Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 94SV + TRANSDUCER. Note. I use this to hook up my Garmin at home to a secondary battery to connect the unit to my boat. You'll need to buy alligator clips and a 12v battery if you plan to do the same.

This cable is exactly the same as the one that came with my device (ECHOMAP UHD94SV with 54 TRANSDUCERS). It is impossible to tell them apart. I have already used a second power cord to upgrade the device from the comfort of my own home. Just buy a cheap small 3 amp battery at your local auto parts store. I have a fuse box on my boat so the yellow round fuse for the Garmin power cable that stays on the boat was removed. This in itself forced the power cord to run through a smaller hole. I will…
