10-Inch color display with keypad interface and multifunction control knob. Preloaded U.S. Lakevü HD maps and blue Chart g2 charts. Power consumption: Max power usage at 10 VDC: 32.4 Watt. Typical current draw at 12 VDC: 1.9 A. Max Current draw at 12 VDC: 2.7 A. High-sensitivity internal 10 Hz GPS and GLONASS receiver. Built-in single channel CHIRP sonar, CHIRP clearer and CHIRP SideVü scanning sonar and Panoptix support (transducers sold separately).

Invalid description.

Wrong description. It clearly states "Includes CHIRP 250W wide and CHIRP ClearVü/SideVü 455/800 350W transducers (also available without transducer)." NO. False advertising .

Not the best value Garmin.

I bought this device to put behind the console. I also bought a 93sv block to mount up front next to the trolling motor - in the end the 93sv has more value than the 1042xsv. On the 93sv, the menus are easier to navigate and the display is much better. And I thought the 1042 was a touchscreen device. No, that is not so. The 93sv touchscreen model is $400 less. I was not impressed with this device.
