🚗 Enhanced Suction Cup Mount for Garmin Nuvi 2300 Series Review

Works well on the window but falls off quite often especially when the weather changes. I always have to tape it to the window but it's nice to be able to put my GPS on it.

I didn't really like this Garmin suction cup. Even though my windshield is clean and dry, the suction cup often comes loose. I have to wear it multiple times a day if I want it to stay.

This is a genuine replacement for the Nuvi 2300 series suction cup and has a charging port. Many low cost options do not have a charging port and are NOT a complete replacement for the Nuvi 2300 series suction cup mount.

As others have pointed out, this is a Garmin part that consists of 3 main parts: suction cup mount, adhesive disc (for rough dashboards) and the part that actually holds the Nuvi. This last part has copper connectors on the bottom and houses a mini-USB connector on the back to provide power and data traffic from the power cord. I almost bought a cheaper one but luckily I read the reviews and realized they don't have a molded power plug. That's why I bought this one. It is exactly the same as the one that came with my Garmin. It was a good buy.

To be honest I had questions if this would work for me. My convertible has built-in navigation, but the bright sunlight sometimes makes it difficult to see the screen. This windshield suction cup version allows me to adjust the angle of my stock Garmin. Works perfectly.
