Description of Gates 20662 Molded Coolant Hose

Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum. Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure. Pre-shaped to fit and to ensure perfectly sealed conditions. EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement; heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. Meets requirements of SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A (except for tolerances).

Efficient Cooling with Durable Hose

I recently purchased a molded coolant hose for my automotive cooling system and found it to exceed my expectations .Through trial and error, I found that this hose fit perfectly and provided efficient cooling. Its durable construction ensures it will withstand the demanding conditions under the hood. The only downside is that it can be a bit difficult to install, but once in place it`s definitely worth the effort..

This is a molded coolant hose. It is made under a model of the engine. I find it difficult to explain why it is not suitable for this engine. It's too long, about three inches on each side. Trimming is nothing new when it comes to auto inner tubes, but to fit it you need to cut the entire knurled shaped end so it fits freely. Yes No. Get the Dayco or Continental equivalent. Gates must have miscalculated or left this work to a sub, sub, sub-supplier.
