Description of Gates 22524 Lower Radiator Hose

Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum. Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure. Pre-shaped to fit and to ensure perfectly sealed conditions. EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement; heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. Meets requirements of SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A (except for tolerances).

Great item for 01 Chevy Malibu

Amazing product. Perfect fit for my 2001 Chevy Malibu. For some reason the hose seems to go flat when the machine isn't running. All the air came out of the hose but the problem remained. On the other hand, my car doesn't overheat when I drive it.
