Must-Have Gas Cap for my opinion

After trying this product, I can confidently say that it is a must-have for any automotive lover. It fits snugly onto the fuel tank, ensuring no gas leaks or spills, and keeps dust and debris out of the tank. The durable material ensures that it will withstand any weather conditions. The only downside is that it may be slightly pricier compared to other gas cap options. Overall, a fantastic purchase for anyone looking to upgrade their exterior car accessories.

Pros
  • High quality and durable construction
Cons
  • Possible fuel leakage if not securely tightened

Gates 31691 gas cap

The gas cap worked fine, the only problem anyone might have is that the person needs to make sure the cap is vented if they are going to use it on an older car.

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

This product will not fit the 1963 MB 190 SL as described.

Cap did not fit my 1963 Mercedes Benz 190 SL. It was screwed into the gas tank but I couldn't get it out. I tried tirelessly, but to no avail. I had to use a wrench to get it out which ended up messing it up. I still have the bulky cap but I don't think they will accept a return.

Pros
  • Caps
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
