Good quality cable, can be used for connection

I actually use this cable as a 10ga power cable and it works great for that purpose. Side note, Revane, why are you asking me to rate "transparency"? Its wire is not a dress.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some difficulties

As most reviews say,

As most reviews say, it's not really 10 AWG. This is 12 AWG wire with heavier insulation. It's still a great price for 100 feet of 12 AWG black and red copper wire, but if your application calls for 10 AWG, don't use it.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Minor issues

This is a cheap aluminum dissolving wire!

Its aluminum wire that dissolves in water and electrolysis. If you use this wire you can do this job in 6 months or a year. It also has a much greater resistance to electricity than copper, so you'll need a larger gauge wire for the same job.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not the best

Not as advertised but ok

This wire is good quality but not as advertised. They say it's 10 gauge wire, but it doesn't meet American Wire Gauge (AWG) specifications. It's marked as 10 gauge, but it's actually 1.0mm. It might be 10 gauge in another country, but not what we expect in the United States.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Flexible jacket for audio cables

I'm guessing this wire is a little less than 10 ga. The shell is very flexible. This is either good or bad depending on the application. . I like it for amateur radio purposes. Note that the strands of wire can easily be pulled out of the sheath if you don't hold them well while stripping. Still good value for money once you know how to use it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

May be suitable for low powered speakers. This is not true US 8 AWG gauge wire. It measures around 10 AWG, but that's aluminum, not copper. When purchasing, remember that it can only handle 12 AWG copper wire power. I got this because I needed 14 AWG wire and figured it would probably be enough for that. If you give him a charge that calls for a 10 gauge, you'll have a fire.

Pros
  • Audio cable
Cons
  • Doubtful

False advertising, good thick insulation and normal price.

Ok I would honestly give this product 2 stars but the insulation was decent and I think if you know what you are doing they can work well. So I measured the wire and it was 2.05mm, 2.10mm at best. This means you are using 12GA cable, not 10GA. Also keep in mind that this isn't a regular cable, so you can't put it near amplifiers that a wireless cable might be using. I can remember the characteristics of the amp, but look at them, they are important. I bought this cable because I knew it was…

Pros
  • Speaker Wire
Cons
  • Not sure

Edit: Did a resistance test and rechecked the side and it's marked aluminum. Soft insulation I think; Conductor measures 2.3mm for 11 AWG. Not sure what the seller means when they say AWG doesn't stand for "US Wire Gauge" as the insulation is stamped "US 10 Gauge" which is inaccurate. 1.35 mm soft plastic insulation. Permissible insulation temperature 60C. When the black and red wires are separated, a black stripe is visible on the red wire. not a bad deal.

Pros
  • Accessories & Consumables
Cons
  • High Price
