air enters; comes out

That's a fan. it rotates and moves air from side to side. It does its job well - it moves quite a bit of air for its small size, and it's not very noisy. Note that this is a 5V fan, probably intended for hobbyist projects and goes well with microcontrollers (I use it to cool the solid state relay that controls the heater). It doesn't work in your computer, it's 12V and this thing only has two wires. It also appears to have an internal flyback diode as it doesn't cause a noticeable voltage spike

Size didn't matter here

uses this fan to keep the air flowing inside the raspberry pi box. The size is deceptive, the thing moves quite a bit of air while remaining quiet. There wasn't much vibration noise either, even though I installed it on plexiglass.

Pros
  • It's great
Cons
  • Negative is present

So I needed a replacement fan for the Hota D6 Pro Lipo Charger. This one fit right into the fan-only slot, while the others were just too thick. Calm. The only thing I think is a problem with this fan is that I don't think it moves enough air to keep the charger cool enough. If it was a 5V version fan rated over 0.18A, it would have worked out better. The original fan that came with this charger moved significantly more air than this one.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Modern
