The bulbs have perforations that allow moisture to pass through, so they are not weatherproof. The picture on the box isn't accurate either because when they're on the paint on the bottle looks uneven and it's not painted over very well at the bottom.

We wanted to get an extra outdoor LED strip for this season but the exact model number from GE was no longer available. This GE set all seemed to have the same specs, but maybe a little different. The lighting started out the same as the old set, but after 3 weeks 50% of the LEDs were off and the rest of the LEDs were much dimmer than the 3 year old GE set. I do not recommend.

The headlights delivered were clearly defective. Half of the lights are completely off and the other half are so dim you don't even realize they're on. Christmas is 3 days away and now half my lights are out and everything looks awful. So disappointed and frustrated that I will not have time before Christmas to find a replacement for the faulty bulbs I received and the seller will not offer a replacement.

I bought these to replace some of the Christmas light bulbs I use to light up my bedroom which recently burned out. While they don't quite look like warm incandescent bulbs, they offer a surprisingly close overall glow and also have that LED "pop". In particular, white and orange lightbulbs look particularly similar to incandescent lightbulbs, while red, blue, and green lightbulbs look more like LEDs.
