I bought this to replace my old but wonderful GE 4 slice toaster. That worked great for over ten years. This new toaster still won't toast my bread even after I set it to 6. When I toast, there are spots on every toasted slice. Very disappointed with this product.

THE BAGEL FUNCTION IS DESIGNED TO FRY ONLY ONE SIDE OF THE BAGLE (MUFFIN) TO KEEP THE OUTSIDE SOFT. TIME! THIS IS THE 4TH TOASTER MADE IN CHINA THAT CLAIMING TO HAVE A BAGLE FUNCTION THAT DON'T WORK. DOES IT EXIST? YOU HUMM WITHOUT IT AND TELL WHAT IT IS?

Unfortunately the toaster didn't work properly after a long wait for arrival. On the right side, the donut and defrost buttons didn't light up or work. The left side was fine. Was disappointed and will be back. I didn't even get a chance to make my husband a bagel for breakfast along with hugs.

We purchased this particular toaster after researching and reading a manufacturer review stating the product was 'Made in America'. This is clearly NOT an American production; At the bottom of the box is a typical stereotypical "Made in China" sticker. I've been using a KitchenAid toaster for 10 years. It cost $100, but the plastic handle breaks every few years and needs replacing (for $10). This toaster doesn't have many extra features so if you are looking for a 'gadget' toaster then look elsewhere. What can I say, I am very satisfied with this toaster. It looks great on the counter and the lever feels solid when you squeeze it. I've used this toaster to toast bread, bagels, and toasted pastries and it toasted all of these foods very evenly and consistently.
