The battery is inexpensive but difficult to install in my at&t phone. As far as I remember, the previous battery was also difficult to install. I've been using the phone for about two weeks since installing the battery and everything seems fine. I had to give 4 stars because the cord was too short to fit snugly in the outlet.

Ordered on February 1st and the first battery stopped working on April 1st The phone doesn't even try to charge. I switched to the second set and the phone started charging again. However, the batteries do not hold a charge very long. So I don't think that last set will only last a few months. Don't worry about these rechargeable batteries after sale, they are not durable.

I've had several cordless phones that start beeping less than a minute after I answer a call when the battery is low. I looked elsewhere and they wanted as much or more than a new phone just because of the battery. So I ended up getting two of these for less than $10 and don't have to throw away two perfectly good phones. I'll update this if there are any issues with them in the first year, but I'll assume they're fine.
