I just bought an Explorer and the right hand seat would not raise. The mechanic offered me $300 for it and I bought the part myself and decided to replace it. I'm a very hands on guy and had it replaced within 2 hours and it worked great. It's a bit slower than the original left side, but as long as it goes up, it deserves 5 stars.

. Perfect replacement for 2006 Mercury Mountaineer. My third row driver's seat was completely unusable and the dealership was charging an exorbitant dollar amount to fix it. Even for that part, they wanted $380. It wasn't easy to replace, but there's a great YouTube video that walks you through it. Excellent value for money and quality.

The fittings appear to be very good but mine arrived in a rather shabby box and with the free-moving motor dangling from the attachment point. It looks like it has come loose from the plastic mount. I plugged it in to test and it drives the mechanism, but the motor spins a lot when you change direction. I contacted the seller through the Revain chat so we'll see how it goes. good and will work as intended. It works, just not sure how noisy the motor will be once installed and if it will affect…
