Hammer Drill It.: Power & Hand Tools

I use this tool to build foundations in the workshop and on board ships. Ideal for use when the hammer just can't hit the mark.

Pros
  • Center Punch
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Handy replacement part for hand tools

I bought this model to have a replacement part if needed. I didn't use a spare head but it looks and feels the same as the head that came installed on the punch and is excellent.

Pros
  • Hand tools
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Fits nicely in my old car centerer. The strands appear taut and well formed. I had to lubricate the center punch to get the deep dent I was expecting, it's not the tips' fault. So far the tip stays sharp for repeated use. For the price and shipping you can't go wrong!

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Not the best

The original tip broke off flush with the butt.

The original tip came loose flush with the plunger but I was able to remove the threaded rod and install a new replacement tip but it was smaller, weaker thread than the original tip (which was pretty sloppy). The threads on the plunger that came with it were even looser and I'm sure the tip will fall out with a little use, so I reused the original plunger. Very casual cut, made in India.

Pros
  • Punch
Cons
  • Negative impression
