First thought the glass was broken. But it turns out there was no glass on the original part either. Upon closer inspection, this part actually looks OEM. The same thickness everywhere, the same weight, the perfect fit. And it works great - the picture is as vivid as we remember it when it was new. I bought this lamp at the end of February 2012. Now a little over a year later, in mid-February 2013, the lamp has already burned out. We've been very careful not to leave the TV on when we're not watching it and to be honest we don't watch TV at all! I'm very interested to know how many hours we got from this bulb and will update this review when I find out. Is it worth $60 a year to keep this TV running?

I only gave two stars because the bulb didn't work when I replaced the old bulb. I worked as an electrician for 41 years. I know lightbulbs are fragile and may not always work after shipping. I don't blame the seller, the bulb was delivered quickly and on time, it just didn't work and they got my money back quickly and easily so I would give them 5 stars but only two because the bulb didn't work. .
