This wheel is great for sharpening carbide bits

I use this wheel to sharpen carbide turning tools. It works incredibly well. Leaves a nice smooth finish and pretty quick.

Pros
  • Abrasive wheels and discs
Cons
  • I will add later

Sharpens carbide turning tools without grinding.

Right out of the box I mounted this wheel on a bench grinder and cut some brazed carbide cutting tools and the tools went from poor to great performing.

Pros
  • Abrasive Wheels
Cons
  • Out of fashion

But it works. in grinding wheels and discs

Was unbalanced and had some fluctuations. Had to make a set of shims for the floor with a couple of holes drilled to add/reduce weight on the mount to achieve smooth rotation. Good for the price, but be aware that you may need to take a few steps to get a good real spin.

Pros
  • Industry & Science
Cons
  • Negative present
