COUNTERFEIT! Not a Dell product, but a cheap Chinese copy. Dell products don't come in cheap plastic bags with Chinese stickers on the outside. Using it can pose a fire hazard and destroy your laptop.

This is how a standard 65 W power supply should be. Yes, there are smaller, more compact ones, but that's the norm. It's high quality, compact enough to carry around every day and powerful enough to power my Surface Book 2 for everyday use.

The cable was different from the original Dell cable and was made by a manufacturer with known security issues. I was traveling and of course forgot my laptop charger at home. My Dell charger is normally 90w but it was a bit more expensive so I took a chance and bought this one. It worked! My laptop didn't slow down, but sometimes I had to turn it off and let it charge. Now I use it as a phone charger, which is good because the cable is long and charges my Samsung Note 10+ quickly.

After 2 months of use today, the adapter started hissing and popping. The adapter started smoking and melting, which I quickly unplugged and threw on the street. If I hadn't been there I'm afraid there would have been a small fire. Doubts about the authenticity of the product as mentioned in other reviews.

Bought to have a spare for on the go as I work remotely. He worked for a few months and then died, just stopped working for no reason. There was no cable twisting, no tight winding, this thing just died. I just got a new Anker outlet with the same rating and it works like a dream. I hope this continues.

First review - cheap packaging. The light on the USB end lit up, so that seemed like a good sign. When I finally plugged it in and watched the screen to see if it recognized the charger, the battery never died and the USB indicator disappeared. I even tried sniffing the adapter to see if something was shorting but didn't feel anything. I'm sending it back and buying direct from Dell.
