Eureka STK Filter 61544B - 3-Pack: Genuine and Efficient Cleaning Filters Review

These filters really go with our Eureka and the price is great for a pack of three filters. They don't look quite like the filter that came with the vacuum, which was of more durable construction which could result in a shorter lifespan, but at this great price it's still a steal.

Dislikes:1. NOT genuine product2. WILL NOT SEAL properly, allowing dust to enter vacuum motor.3. The seal is cheap and flimsy compared to the original. I wouldn't mind if this company advertises the filter as a replacement AND the filter is sealed and working. However, this is a poor replacement that doesn't work.

Seems to be better than the original. It's not a very easy filter to install, but it makes a BIG difference in how well an old vacuum works. The material even seems to be slightly different than the original. Whatever it was, whoever made the change, it was right. Very happy with the results. It's like having a new vacuum cleaner again.

This is not the seller's fault. These are Eureka replacement bags and are genuine Eureka products. They don't fit and don't work properly. Eureka replacement bags are thin and have no support frame. After investigation, Eureka no longer manufactures or supplies a filter bag that will work with the Model 169. (See photo - original filter bag above)

The filter supplied with the vacuum cleaner can be cleaned and reused. The original filter was not as dirty after a year of use as this one was after a month. I didn't know that the original can be deleted. They came in an official looking Eureka bag that said 1 bag and had 3 bags inside. Pockets work but not well. They get very dirty and don't wash well. You also need to attach them to the black cage that contains the original filter. I don't think these are real Eureka bags.
