Fits like a glove but this is my second one because I've tried putting it on with dish soap it has to be taken apart it only took 30 minutes so go for it.

This was installed on my 2005 Chevy Silverado. This is a precision replacement part that took about 10 minutes to install without tools. Using dish soap I was able to place it directly on the shift knob. Then he just sat down with a little manipulation.

Fits my 2002 Avalanche perfectly. Tilt the column all the way down. Simply gently pull back the area of speaker grille next to the switch. The switch does not need to be removed. Apply dishwashing liquid to the inside of the trunk and insert the switch. Then turn the boot inside out and brush off the soap. Part number should be at the top.
