Previous experiences are quite positive. The packaging is tiny and fragile, easily lost or broken. A good deal if you have a place to do your own oil change, but most reputable places will have their own supply and charge you. Why would anyone go into a locker room who doesn't?

I took my car to the lube and they completely and forcibly destroyed/deformed the washer on the drain plug. Because of this, my oil was leaking even though it was tightened to manufacturer's recommendations. I received these washers, got a new drain plug as the other washer and drain plug were broken, installed them and stopped the leak completely. I use my car with these washers and they don't spill, they fit perfectly. Highly recommended.

That's exactly what they say and if you have a Kia/Hyundai and change the oil yourself you should always change it after you drain it. On the other hand, it would be nice if Kia/Hyundai just included it in the filter, but it's nice to have them on hand. Sometimes you're lucky and the retailer gives you a filter for free, but the filters there have a premium, so it's cheaper to buy it here.

I'm sure I can get something like this at your local hardware store for less, but there's something about an oil change that makes me want the right part for it use work. If the gasket isn't properly seated, I'll end up on the side of the road in the middle of the rain because my car's engine has stalled from an oil leak. I change them at every oil change and have had no problems. I wish I could say the same about the oil change the dealer did for me and later found out I ran out of a quart of…
